Music Production Lessons for Children
Learn how to create your own beats at home with our Music Production Lessons for Children.
Lessons are for beginners to advanced musicians and are designed to explore the beginnings of beat-making. Music production lessons at MMS are FUN and promote slow and steady progress with a healthy understanding of the foundation of gear, equipment, music theory, and songwriting.
Taught by one of our in-house producers, you will receive hands-on, one-on-one guidance in:
Music production/beat-making
Setting up your home studio
Exploring electronic genres (hip hop, EDM, house, drum & bass, dubstep)
Equipment ins and outs
Recording & audio engineering
Arranging/creating demos
Song structure/composition
Mixing and effects
Understanding sound
Our Music Production teacher David D’Angelo combines his knowledge of songwriting, music education, AND producing/engineering to create a custom lesson that addresses your specific interests!
Work in Ableton, Protools, FL Studio, or Logic (if you work in other DAWs, your teacher will help you transfer the knowledge to your preferred platform)
Lessons take place online from the comfort of your home.
Just like all of our private online music production lessons, your sessions will be designed around what you want to learn. Perhaps you want to learn more about recording vocals or tracking piano live, or perhaps you want to explore recording midi, making beats, or arranging electronic tracks. We are here to help you take your recording/production to the next level.
Music Production lessons for Children are 45 minutes or 60 minutes in length.
ages 8 - 12: 45 minutes
ages 13 & up: 60 minutes
