Events at MMS are the backbone of our community and we are pleased to offer the following Events at MMS in 2023/2024!

A few changes to our events in ‘23-’24:
Eligibility:
All students enrolled in MMS will be eligible for all events this year! Some events are included in tuition (when you select in-person events) and some will be charged as an Add-On which you can register for at the time of enrollment or by the Registration Deadlines listed below.
Adult Recording Session - DATES MOVED to March 2 & 3, 2024
We made this decision in order to space out the opportunities for adults over the year a bit more evenly. This should decrease on the heavy amount of prep that has occurred in the fall semester and will allow students to focus on the Winter Concert in the fall and then shift into Recording Session prep after the New Year.
Kids Music Festival at Bottom of the Hill - DATE MOVED to Nov 11, 2023
In the same vein, we decided it would be beneficial for our kids to focus on 1 major event per semester - Music Festival in the Fall, and Spring Recital in the Spring. Kids and teens will have the opportunity to perform at the Open Mic in October in order to prep and practice performing before the Kids Music Festival. -Students should begin to prepare for this very special event at the start of our Fall Semester!
Online Events:
As we have moved out of the Covid Era, we have seen a decline in the participation of our Online Events. Rather than scheduling them and then canceling due to low RSVP’s, we’ve decided to highlight one very special Online Event this upcoming year:
Adult Online Student Showcase - Feb 16th, 2024
This event will be open to ALL adult students, both Online & In-Person and will occur on Zoom/Facebook. Mark your calendars and please plan to attend this special Online event!
Children’s Online Spring Recital - May 4th, 2024
This event will be open to all MMS kids, both Online & In-Person and will occur on Zoom/Facebook. Mark your calendars now and please plan to attend this special Online event!

In-Person Open Mics - 4 per year - automatically invoiced 8/15
In-Person Teen Open Mic - 1 per year - automatically invoiced 8/15
In-Person Kids Music Festival - Donation based event
In-Person Spring Recital - $75 per student - Register at time of enrollment or by April 1st, 2024
Online Spring Recital - $50 per student - Register at the time of enrollment or by April 1st, 2024
Kids Recording Session - $900 per student - Register at time of enrollment or by April 1st, 2024
In-Person Open Mics - 5 per year - automatically invoiced 8/15
In-Person Winter Concert - $100 per student - Register at time of enrollment or by Nov 1st, 2023
Adult Recording Session - $900 per student - Register at time of enrollment or by Jan 2nd, 2024
Online Adult Showcase - $50 per student - Register at the time of enrollment or by January 15th, 2024
In-Person & Online Master Class - $50 per student - Register at time of enrollment or by May 1st, 2024
