October Practice Challenge!
One of our Pillars is GROW: Become Your Own Musician!
Practice is where you become your own musician. It's the single most important part of playing the music you love, and it's what keeps progress — and excitement — going. Developing a healthy practice routine is a journey, and we're here to help every step of the way.
The October Practice Challenge is a fun way to GROW as a musician, to build strong habits, stay motivated, and celebrate progress all month long!
✅ How the Challenge Works
1. Commit to Weekly Practice
Sign-Up to Join the October Practice Challenge!
Commit to Practicing 5 days each week from October 5th - November 1st.
Practice Session Length based on age:
Ages 4–6 → 15 minutes per day
Ages 7–10 → 25 minutes per day
Ages 11–14 → 35 minutes per day
Ages 15 & up → 45 minutes per day
Track your Practice each week using the Practice Log in MyMusicStaff
2. Earn Stickers, Raffle Tickets, & Recognition!
All participants will have their name & progress featured on the October Practice Challenge Tracker (in studio & Online!) - to be updated weekly on Mondays
For each day and week you meet your practice goal, you’ll earn a special sticker
Each Sticker = 1 Raffle Ticket
3. Bonus Challenges (Optional, but Fun!)
Each Week will feature 5 Bonus Challenges, complete all 5 for a BONUS sticker

Track your Bonus Challenges using the Practice Log in MyMusicStaff - simply add a note when you track your practice for the day about which Bonus Challenge you completed!
