$450 tuition includes:

4 weekly sessions, Sundays 1:30 - 3:30 pm

Explore the music of Herbie Hancock, Horace Silver, Lou Donaldson and more as our jazz master, Andrew Kunz, guides you through:

• Playing in a group and understanding your role on your specific instrument

• Exploring Improvisation & Soloing

• Working on your Rhythm & Groove, on your instrument and on various percussion instruments

• Playing with a drummer

• Performing as a group at MMS Music Night!

Class is open to pianists, bassists, guitarists, vocalists, & melodic instruments (horns, winds). Maximum 6 Students.
*Prerequisite: Students should know basic jazz chords (triads, 7s) and how to comp basic jazz patterns
