Christian Stathopoulos began learning piano at the age of 5 alongside his five older siblings. He grew up surrounded by piano and choral music, and credits much of his current musical ability to the exposure he received at a young age. He moved to the Bay Area in 2019 & graduated from San Jose State University in 2022 with a degree in piano performance.

While studying, practicing and pursuing his passion for piano he also began teaching and sharing that passion with students. He loves sharing the rewards that music brings when given our effort and attention. He hopes to inspire his students to truly create music and use it as an outlet to express emotion. He guides his students to create a story behind the music they play, and then works with them to add details that make those stories come to life. He teaches a variety of styles from the classical greats to Lana Del Rey and is excited to continue growing his career as a music educator by sharing his knowledge and expertise with the students of MMS!
