Year Round Music Lessons at MMS
At MMS, we encourage our students to continue their musical journey all year long! Our yearly calendar is designed to set you on a clear musical path, with recording and performance opportunities that begin casual and become more engaging and exciting as the year goes on.
Easy one-time only enrollment
No hassle of re-enrolling between semesters! If your schedule changes at any point during the year, simply reach out and we will offer you any and all open time slots.
*A different spot in your teacher's schedule is not guaranteed* however we will do our best to create a spot that works for you. This may be in a different teacher's schedule if no options are available in your teacher's schedule.
Two De-Enrollment Periods per year
While we do ask for your commitment to the full year of lessons, we understand that occasionally unforeseen circumstances arise. In the event that you are unable to continue your Yearly Lesson Commitment for any reason, you may de-enroll during our De-enrollment Periods twice per year.
De-enrollment Periods:
Nov. 6th - 17th, 2023 - to de-enroll from lessons starting Jan 2nd, 2024
April 15th - 26th, 2024 - to de-enroll from lessons starting June 10th, 2024
De-enrollment periods allow you to opt out of your commitment to Yearly Lessons. Your de-enrollment begins on the first date of the following semester. There will be no refunds for the current semester of lessons.
Automated payments
No hassle of making multiple tuition payments. Using My Music Staff, you’ll enter your credit card information once and sign up for automated billing. You’ll pay a deposit to register & then be charged once per month for the upcoming month of lessons.
Mutual Commitment
Our year round school is a mutual agreement between us, our teachers, and you that your musical journey is of utmost importance. Year round lessons offer consistency for students as well as for teachers. Our goal is for students to register once and then sit back and watch this exciting journey unfold for you week after week with limited changes or cancellations. Your extended commitment to lessons during the summer allows you to continue growing in your musical pursuit all year, prepping for performances that begin in September, and allows you to have priority when it comes to registering for the following year’s lesson time.
It also creates reliability for our employees who are committed to serving you all year long. We discourage students from discontinuing lessons for the summer which causes a disruption in your musical growth, creates difficult gaps in our teacher’s schedules, and results in you forfeiting your time slot and potentially not being able to access one that is ideal for you in the fall.
